Jeffrey A. Muddell, MBA, CFP®
Sanibel President, Wealth Services Advisor

Jeff Muddell oversees the daily operations of the Sanibel office, working closely with clients interacting with local nonprofit and city leaders about the role of The Trust Company within the community. A resident of Sanibel since 2017, he holds an MBA from the University of Florida’s Warrington School of Business and has earned his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) certification. Before joining The Trust Company, he served as System Director of Gift Planning for the Lee Health Foundation in Fort Myers, where he led strategic planning and management of the fundraising initiative. Earlier Jeff spent 18 years in the Orlando area where he led fundraising efforts at Orlando Health Foundation; served as Vice President at Pace Center for Girls, and Senior Fundraising Consultant at Winkler Group. During his time in the nonprofit sector, Jeff developed an acute understanding of the unique needs of wealthy multi-generational families. Jeff earned his bachelor’s degree in Communications from the University of Miami and began his professional career in broadcasting and journalism. He is a board member of several civic organizations on Sanibel, and is proud to be one of only a few thousand Americans to have completed all six of the World Major Marathons.

Michael R. Dreyer, CPA
Tampa Bay President

Michael Dreyer has more than 30 years of financial and estate planning experience working with individuals and business owners to help them meet their financial objectives. As President, he oversees business development, client services, community relations and is a member of the Family Office Services division.  His expertise includes assisting clients in developing and implementing their estate plans, fulfilling their philanthropic goals in a tax efficient manner, and working with business owners on succession planning.  Prior to joining The Tampa Bay Trust Company, Mike held an executive position with Florida Investment Advisors and the Bank of Tampa, and was a Senior Manager with PricewaterhouseCoopers in the personal financial services group. Mike is a CPA who is recognized as a personal financial specialist by the American Institute of CPAs. He earned his Masters in Business Administration degree at the University of South Florida and a Bachelors of Science degree at Florida State University.

Peter Knize, J.D., LL.M., AEP
Chief Fiduciary Officer

Peter Knize, J.D., LL.M., AEP® leads the Trust and Estate Administration team corporatewide. His specialty is in estate settlement and he is an Accredited Estate Planner. He works with clients in their estate settlement planning and manages the assets, debts and estate taxes of the decedent, as well as distribution of the remaining assets to heirs. Prior to joining the firm, Peter served as Senior Vice President of Trust Services at Investors’ Security Trust of Fort Myers, Florida where he worked with clients to create estate planning and tax strategies designed for their specific needs. He has also practiced law in North Carolina and Florida in the areas of estate planning, trust and estate administration, guardianship, taxation, corporate law, business succession, real estate and trust and probate litigation. Peter obtained his Juris Doctorate from Nova Southeastern University, and a Master of Laws, Estate Planning, from the University of Miami. He is a member of the Collier, Lee, Charlotte and Cape Coral Bar Associations, and the American Bar Association.

F. Hood Craddock, CPA
Executive Vice President, Director of Family Office Services

Hood Craddock serves as Director of Family Office Services for The Trust Company, and relationship manager for many ultra-high net worth families. He specializes in serving clients with complex estates, alternative and special assets, and real estate investments including development. Prior to merging his firm with The Trust Company, Hood founded Craddock Family Office, Inc., a well-respected multi-family office based in Winter Haven, Florida, which specialized in formulating wealth strategies for high-net-worth clients. He has extensive experience in family education and governance and frequently counsels families on philanthropic giving, business succession and wealth transfer. Prior to founding Craddock Family Office, Hood served as president of a large agricultural and land development company in Polk County, Florida where he was responsible for operating results in the areas of investments, citrus, cattle and real estate. He began his public accounting career at KPMG Peat Marwick and served as partner in the tax department in Tampa and New York City. He is a graduate of the University of Alabama and is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and Florida Institute of CPAs.

James McArthur
Executive Vice President, Family Office Services

James McArthur is an established resident of Belleair, Florida dedicating his expertise to Tampa’s coastal area families and business owners. He has more than 30 years of experience in management consulting, family office counseling, restructuring, special situations, turnarounds, and commercial finance. He is the founder of Southern Capital Strategies, a Florida based consulting firm serving leaders of closely held firms, investors, lenders, and family offices. Southern Capital Strategies combined their business consulting and family office advisory services with The Tampa Bay Trust Company to meet the investment and trust administration needs of their clients, while adding another highly experienced family office services professional to The Tampa Bay Trust team. James’s engagements include executive roles in CRO, CFO, and CEO capacities. He is a past president of the Florida Chapter of Turnaround Management Association (TMA), current board member of the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG) and Commercial Finance Association (CFA), and he often participates in panel discussions on his areas of specialty. He is a graduate of Wofford College, Spartanburg, SC and assists area nonprofits by serving on their advisory boards.

Allison Constant
Senior Vice President, Family Office Services

Allison Constant meets regularly with Family Office clients and is a central point of contact for clients’ external advisors. In addition to an array of responsibilities, she prepares and maintains clients’ personal financial statements and reviews the accounting and financial reporting for all business entities, including cashflow analysis and estate tax calculations. She has an established career in the financial industry, having served as an estate planner for a regional family office, assisting clients in developing and implementing their estate plans. Earlier, she was the Controller of 26 subsidiary companies, managing tax reporting, human resources, and accounting. Allison graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of South Florida where she earned her bachelor’s degree in accounting. She is a member of Beta Gamma Sigma and a dedicated volunteer at the Humane Society and SPCA.

Louis N. Pappas
Senior Vice President, Family Office Services

Louis Pappas is responsible for business development for Family Office Services in the Tarpon Springs market and surrounding communities. He is part of the trust and investment team singularly focused on providing holistic wealth management to multi-generational families. He also serves as vice-chairman of the board of directors for Advent Health North Pinellas Hospital Foundation. Louie is a graduate of Stetson University, Deland, Florida where he received his bachelor of science in business administration, majoring in family enterprise, complementing the firm’s primary focus of Family Office Services. Louie interned at UBS Financial Services over two consecutive years and is a fourth generation native of Tarpon Springs, Florida.

Matthew Rymer, CPA, CFA
Senior Vice President, Family Office Services

Matt Rymer is responsible for researching and vetting technology platforms to support the expanding analytical needs of the Family Office Services effort in order to provide focused solutions to Family Office clients for years to come. Prior to joining The Trust Company, Matt was a quantitative analyst for several years in variable annuities asset liability management (ALM) at Brighthouse Financial (formerly MetLife), Tampa, FL. He also served as an auditor for the company for five years, leading the strategic planning initiatives for ALM and actuarial audits. Matt attended University of South Carolina where he obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in business administration with a major in accounting and minor in political science. He is a Certified Public Accountant and a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).

Jennifer Satterfield
Assistant Vice President, Relationship Management

Jennifer Satterfield has more than 20 years of professional accounting experience. In her client services and trust operations role, she meets with clients to review their personal financial statements, tax documents and billpaying needs. She is responsible for the daily bookkeeping of Family Office accounts, which includes bill paying and cash flow analysis, and providing clients with personal balance sheets. In her previous positions for local businesses, she served as the Controller, managing accounts receivable & payable, processed payroll, managed month and year-end close, and prepared monthly financials for multiple companies. She also managed general liability, auto and property policies and maintained employee records. Jennifer graduated with her bachelor’s degree in business management from University of Phoenix, Tampa, FL. She is the current President of the Parent Auxiliary for the United States Naval Sea Cadets and serves in a volunteer capacity with Metropolitan Ministries and Feeding Tampa Bay.

Krista Hinrichs
Vice President, Wealth Services

Krista Hinrichs is an established Belleair resident and is responsible for managing trust services and coordinating introductions for residents in need of wealth management services with specialized Trust Company team members. Prior to joining The Trust Company, she was senior accountant at Boos Development Group of Clearwater where she served as coordinator on company land acquisitions and managed lease administration and compliance. Earlier, as a principal of Spencer International Advisors, Inc., of Clearwater, she was Series 65 licensed and responsible for building client relationships, conducting investment research and serving on the investment committee. Krista is committed to the Belleair community, having served on the Silver Coffee committee benefiting Children’s Home Society, is a member of Skip Cline Society of the Morton Plant Mease Foundation, a graduate of Leadership Pinellas and a sustaining member of the Junior League of Clearwater/Dunedin. She is also a graduate of the University of Tampa with a B.S. in marketing.
