Jodi Schwartzel Joins Sanibel Captiva Trust Investment Team

The Sanibel Captiva Trust Company is pleased to announce the addition of Jodi Schwartzel, Vice President, Portfolio Manager to the investment management team. Along with other members of the Trust Company team, Schwartzel meets with clients to understand their short and long-term investment goals and manages their portfolios to meet ongoing lifestyle needs and family aspirations.

Prior to joining The Trust Company, Schwartzel was a business development manager and financial advisor at Morgan Stanley in Naples, Florida for six years where she cultivated client relationships and provided guidance to investors. She also served as Morgan Stanley’s SWFL business development liaison on their diversity council. Earlier she was at UBS Financial Services in Fort Myers, Florida for seven years where she also served as a financial advisor to clients throughout southwest Florida. As a member of the wealth management team, she provided financial planning, insurance reviews, liability management and portfolio analysis.
Schwartzel received her CFP curriculum certificate at Florida State University, Tallahassee, Florida. She obtained her bachelor’s in fine arts at Ringling School of Art & Design, Sarasota, Florida and minored in Art History & Photography. She has served on several boards including the Sanibel Captiva Zonta Foundation, the Sanibel Captiva Conservation Foundation, SWFL Catholic Community Foundation, and Sanibel Sea School. She also holds the rare designation of Lifetime Girl Scout. Schwartzel serves clients at the Sanibel office on Periwinkle Way and the Fort Myers office at Bell Tower.
