New Team Joins Tampa Bay Trust Company

Terence M. Igo, Chief Executive Officer of Tampa Bay Trust Company announced today that Lucas DeVicente, Matt Livesay, and April Stanton have joined the company’s Family Office Services team to further expand those existing services throughout Tampa, St. Petersburg, and Tampa’s coastal markets.

Lucas DeVicente, CFP®, CTFA, joins the company as Executive Vice President, Wealth Services Advisor within Family Office Services. He will assist clients with the wealth strategy that best meets their family’s financial needs and long-term goals. Previously, DeVicente was at Sabal Trust. He joined the company in 2007 where he served as the market leader for their Tampa operation. In 2021 he became the lead for the family office group advising multi-generational families with complex estates.

DeVicente is a fifth-generation resident of the Tampa Bay area, currently serving on the Boards of Directors of the Tampa Theatre, Tampa Bay History Center and YMCA of Greater St. Petersburg. He also serves as a Board Member of the Florida Bankers Association Trust & Wealth Management School. He is a holder of the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) and Certified Trust and Fiduciary Advisor (CTFA) designations, a graduate of Florida Banker’s Trust School, Cannon Financial Institute’s Trust School and the Tuck Executive Program at Dartmouth College.
Matt Livesay, J.D., LL.M., joins the company as Executive Vice President, Fiduciary Services. He will manage strategic estate planning, trust and estate administration, and assist with taxation and business law.
For more than a decade, he was a practicing attorney counseling families on the preservation and transfer of their wealth over multiple generations (primarily as a partner at Barnett, Bolt, Kirkwood, Long, and Koche of Tampa, Florida). In his prior position at Sabal Trust, he led the development and implementation of estate, wealth transfer, tax, philanthropic and fiduciary planning within the Family Office group.
Livesay attained his J.D. and LL.M. in Taxation from the University of Florida Levin College of Law and was admitted to The Florida Bar in 2013. He is a member of The Florida Bar Tax, Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Sections. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Florida State University.
April M. Stanton, Vice President, Client Services is a long-time coastal resident of Tampa Bay, having grown up in Largo and now residing in Belleair Bluffs. She has worked in the financial industry since 2011, assisting clients with private wealth trust services and daily account management.
Prior to joining Tampa Bay Trust Company, she served in a similar role in the family office group at Sabal Trust, and earlier at Raymond James. Also, her prior eight years in the insurance industry in client services at a Largo-based agency, brings another layer of experience and knowledge that benefits Trust Company clients.
Stanton attended St. Petersburg College and is a graduate of Florida Bankers Association’s Florida Trust and Wealth Management School.
